BRACKETRON UFM-300-BX Nav-Pack Weighted GPS Dash Mount/ Carrying Case. Turns a protective carrying case for your portable GPS into a handy, stable dashboard mount. The Nav-Pack combines the physics of weight distribution along together with a high-tech, anti-skid material to offer a solid, stable mounting base for your portable GPS or other electronic devices counting satellite radios. Nav-Pack contours to the top of your vehicle¿s dashboard so it works on any uneven or textured surface and the anti-skid base keeps your device from sliding.
The Nav-Pack is an innovative mounting device for much GPS units, and doubles as a carrying case when not in use. Contouring to the top of your dashboard, the Nav-Pack works on much uneven or textured surfaces. By combining the physics of weight distribution and anti-skid material, it keeps your device firmly in situate. The Nav-Pack offers a stable mounting base for your portable GPS or other electronic devices, and an adjustable strap snaps into 4 different positions to provide you an optimum viewing angle.

When not in use, you can shut the Nav-Pack and zip it up. The padded case protects your device for lightweight portability or storing out of sight (e.g., under the seat or in the glove compartment) for added safety. A shoulder and wrist strap are integrated for carrying convenience.

The Nav-Pack's inner dimensions are approximately 5.25 x 4.25 x 1.375 inches (W x H x D).

This case is really handy to have if your primary use of a GPS is when you travel or are not in your own car. I purchased it for whan I travel to visit friends and family around the country and have a rental car and have no clue how to get where I need to go. The bottom of this case is secure on any surface I've used it on. The adjustable tilt angle is really nice. The only part of it I don't like is it always causes alarm when I pack it in my carry on at the airport. It's not really the product's fault, but rather the airport security (which is probably a good thing). Fortunately, the weighted bag can be removed and TSA has always been satisfied with seeing that.

I bought this case for storage and as a dashboard mount for a trip to California, where, I am advised, window mounts are prohibited. The case worked well as a dashboard mount on the 2 cars that I rented with very little slippage. All things being equal, I would have preferred a window mount for optimum visibility. My Magellan Roadmate 3000 fit perfectly in the case. I adjusted the Velcro attachment strips to retain access for my window mount. I had a small problem with the cord slipping out of the GPS, but this was a minor problem which occured mainly with my constantly removing the case from the dash when I left the car. This product is well worth the reduced price I paid for it.

Provides nice off the dash protection for the GPS when not in use. A little difficult to mount the GPS inside the case if the back of the GPS is not flat. Overall I prefer it to the weighted beanbag type GPS holders.

Not only does it heve a heavy weight that helps keep it place but the case is nice to help protect it too. I searched every where after finding it a magazine and I found that right here was the cheapest place to get it. I had it within 3 to 4 days and I couldn't be happier. I didn't like the windshield mount that came with the GPS so then I went to the vent mount but when I saw this I knew this is just what I was looking for. I'm going to get a couple more and give them as Christmas gifts because they like mine so much.

Not enough friction to hold the GPS unit in place. It may risk damaging the GPS screen when drop to floor while impact something hard.
